Solar Expert
I have been in the solar industry for 15 years. With a background in marketing and sales support with Real Goods Solar, SunPower by Quality Home Services and Evans Energy, I have guided thousands of local homeowners to realize the benefits of a solar lifestyle.
I have a passion for helping others, and for renewable energy as a primary source of electricity for homes and businesses in the central valley. With over 300 days of sunshine, it makes perfect sense to capture the light provided by the sun for use to energize homes. It is a way to cut costs on your monthly budget, and fix your electrical bills, never experiencing fluctuating bills you can’t predict and anymore. Fixing your bill also locks in your rates for decades to come, allowing you to become more energy efficient and independent.
I am now marketing and consulting homeowners and would love the opportunity to share my passion for solar and industry knowledge with you to help you understand your options for putting solar to work for your home and your budget.

Why Solar Works for Homeowners
Having your own power grid on your roof provides you with more control over how you use energy. Solar energy is less expensive than renting electricity from a local utility company, so it makes perfect sense to tap into the power of the sun to energize your home. It is easy to find out if you qualify by checking out your annual kilowatt (kW) usage and calculating your annual cost of electricity. A kW is a measurement of energy usage, so knowing this, will help determine the size and cost of a solar system needed for your home.
Many homeowners can get a solar system to offset their usage at a lower kW rate than what the utility charges. We are here to help, simply schedule a free consultation, and we will propose the best options for you and your home.

Everyone wants to own things, and when that makes sense, I encourage that. Especially when purchasing or financing to own the system, you may qualify for the Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC). There are times when purchasing a system may not make sense, so I am prepared to customize solutions and teach you the way(s) to
achieve energy savings that best suit your needs. Some owners opt to get a ZERO down on the solar system to simply pay the lower kWh rate and achieve the benefits of this. This is still better than paying what the utility charges. There are options for purchasing whether it is cash or financing, leasing, or even a Power Purchase
Agreement (PPA). We show you the options, and you choose which is best for your needs.
It is relatively easy to qualify for solar. If you are a homeowner, have ample shade-free roof space (that ideally faces south and/or west), and have a high electrical bill, you ARE the ideal candidate for solar. I will help you dial in your savings, at a fair price, with best-in-class products and services.

Solar 101
Understanding how solar works in CA: The Net Metering 3 program still allows homeowners to sell electricity back to the utility company, but not at a rate like before. Taking that into account, under NEM 3, there is a need to include a battery for storing the energy you produce during the day, to use when the sun goes down. This makes perfect sense and REALLY makes you energy independent.
So, why rely on the expensive, ever-increasing cost of electricity from your utility when you can bypass them and own your own power plant on your roof? Get started today, contact us for assistance with getting your usage and scheduling a time to show you the options available. When you go solar, you LOCK in your energy rates and stop the rate increases. Imagine that, no more rate increases, just clean, reliable and cost-effective energy for you and your family’s future.
NEM 3 and the electrification TOU rate structure incentivizes the installation of home solar batteries to help manage the shifting costs of grid energy imports and exports. Installing a home battery backup allows more control over your property’s energy sources and expenses outside of solar-producing hours. Solar batteries reduce your total electricity costs by powering your home with stored energy during periods of peak local demand and higher utility import rates. Utilizing a solar battery to operate essential appliances throughout the early evening, you can avoid peak utility electricity import prices in most TOU rate structures. Solar energy production and peak export rates align in a way that can help significantly reduce annual electricity costs.
With extended daylight hours in the summer, solar producers can export their excess power during July, August, and September when energy demand is also at its highest and receive higher credits when local energy demand is at its peak, you can choose to export your excess solar power to the grid to receive the highest possible bill credits. To obtain the most value for your solar exports, simply store the excess power produced by your panels in a battery during periods of low energy demand before sending it to the grid when export rates are at their peak.

Battery Storage
This provides homeowners with around-the-clock power and allows for using solar energy to power the home when rates are higher, during Time of Use (TOU) peak times which is in the afternoon and evening when households tend to have higher electricity needs. When the utility company increases rates (and they will), battery storage allows for leveraging low-cost energy that has already been generated and stored, ensuring low rates on your utility bill. You can better track and control your energy production and usage with a battery storage system. Batteries allow for better transparency and control of how you utilize your home energy system. This provides a more “off grid” experience that many homeowners are looking for. Even though you will still be connected to the grid, your reliance on it for your daily energy production decreases; battery storage helps cut the ties with the utility company by changing the need to rely on them for your home energy.
